Duties

Serve as a director within the Munitions and Logistics Readiness Center (MLRC). Plan, coordinate, and direct assigned programs such as determining long-range plans, goals and objectives of the organization. Oversee and monitor Joint Munition Command's (JMC) mission requirements in support of global materiel management, stockpile management, production sustainment, quality, and/or ammunition logistics operations. Direct and guide the work of assigned Directorate, carrying out all aspects of technical, logistical, financial, and business planning and management. Serve as principal representative at high-level conferences and meetings with representatives from DOD, DA, AMC, other activities and commands, military services and agencies, and private industry. Review programming and budgetary documents received from higher echelons to determine effect on assigned programs.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. If the security clearance is denied or revoked, the individual may be denied or removed from the position, accordingly.
  • This position requires you to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.
  • This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology Workforce position. Selectees must meet the position requirements for certification at Level Senior Level III in Life Cycle Logistics within 24 months of entrance on duty.
  • This is a Critical Acquisition Position. If selected, you must sign an Acquisition Corps written tenure agreement to remain in the Federal service in this position for a period of at least three years.
