About the Position: The incumbent will be assigned to the 406th Army Field Support Brigade, Logistics Readiness Center, Supply and Services Division, at Fort Campbell, Kentucky.

Duties

Serve as the Logistics Readiness Center Installation Property Book Supply Manager utilizing the automated property book, Global Combat Support System – Army (GCSS-A), to account for and manage property assets. Report property records discrepancies and adjusts property records in accordance with agency policy. Establish and implement proper local policy for storage of property held in inventory in support of property book management operations. Perform annual inventory of all accountable property. Assure a comprehensive supply program including procurement, storage, distribution, inventory, inspection, classification, identification, and disposal of equipment. Ensure the update and currency of hand receipts and audit trail records for all accountable property and reconcile hand receipts with the property book. Conduct investigations to determine cause of inventory or hand receipt discrepancies and initiate Financial Liability Investigation of Property Loss process. Review lateral transfers of installation property between hand receipt holders. Review requests for installation equipment and assure validity of justifications. Coordinate with Directorate of Contracting and other management officials to ensure proper accountability of all government furnished equipment.

• The duties of this position require the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License in one of the 50 U.S. states or possessions to operate vehicles.
• This position will require occasional evening, weekend, and/or holiday hours, to include mandatory overtime as mission dictates.
• Appointment to this position is subject to a one year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.

To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages. Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-09).
