About the Position: This position is located with the Defense Health Network West in San Antonio, TX.
Duties
The primary purpose of the Data Quality/Integrity Improvement Manager position is to execute support and oversight of the DHN West Data Quality Management Control (DQMC) Program.
Maintain and manage Data Quality Dashboards, reports, and applications such as the electronic Data Quality Application, and other external databases supporting all Data Quality stakeholders throughout the Network.
Provide technical guidance and serves as subject matter expert on MTF operations and corresponding data transmissions from MHS Electronic Health Record (HER) Systems and Business Management Systems.
Perform process improvement functions in support of Data Quality at the MTFs and Data Integrity across the enterprise.
Serve as a SME for all Data Quality Performance Measures throughout the revenue cycle process.
Perform virtual and face-to-face Staff Assistance Visits (SAVs) to access program efficacy and efficiency, identify deficiencies and successes, design corrective actions, take follow up action, and provide feedback to MTF leadership.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes evaluating healthcare delivery to identify data quality improvements; interpreting policies and/or procedures to develop protocols across medical facilities; and providing guidance and advice to senior leaders in a healthcare setting. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
