About the Position: Serves as a Senior Decision Science Analyst within MEDCOM's Program Analysis and Evaluation Directorate. Subject Matter Expert (SME) in healthcare operations and health data analysis. The Senior Decision Science Analyst supervises teams and individuals supporting major service lines, programs, or lines of effort.

Duties

Provide consultant services to other organizations requesting complex data extraction and analyses. Subject matter expert in Military Health System (MHS) data systems. Prepare/oversee preparation of guidelines, projects, metrics, studies, analyses, and reports. Provides expertise and guidance on Military Treatment Facility operations. Perform/oversee performance of impact analysis of various organizational structures, cultures, business processes, personnel policies and medical information systems.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Health Policy Planning SupportHealth Systems AnalysisHealth Systems Data ManagementManages and Organizes Information Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).
