About the Position:
This position is located at the Defense Health Agency (DHA) under the policy guidance and direction of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs (ASD (HA)) in Fort Sam Houston.
A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized.
Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.
Duties
Assists in the analysis of training requirements for market and MTF healthcare business planning.
Develops ways to improve decision making and business practices at all levels of the military healthcare organization.
Consults all stakeholders on complex fiscal training projects throughout the organization.
Provides training management architecture covering communications, documentation, integration and life cycle and baseline training management.
Develops programs to educate analysts and leaders on data driven decisions to enable leaders to utilize local analytical assets in making appropriate decisions.
Assists in the management of internal personnel and data training program which encompasses all administrative policies and procedures
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- A Personnel Security Investigation is required.
- Male applicants born after December 31, 1959 must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
- One year trial/probationary period may be required.
- A one year supervisory probationary period may be required.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes, reviewing business integration program integrate resourcing training policies, providing recommendations on ways to improve training programs to senior level management as it related to military healthcare delivery, assisting in the development of integrated resourcing training policies or programs and overseeing subordinate personnel. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).
