Duties
You will administer cybersecurity (CS) programs to ensure compliance with DoD Risk Management Framework requirements of information technology (IT) networks.
You will perform a risk analysis of information technology (IT) systems to identify problems and recommend solutions.
You will monitor information technology (IT) project risks to ensure the project remains on target, within budget, and deliverables meet quality standards.
You will serve as Information Systems Security Manager and ensure compliance with DoD and DoN directives and taskers.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- The employee may be recalled to duty.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening test, and periodic drug screenings thereafter.
- This position has been identified as covered by DoD 8570.01-M, Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program. Per 8570.01M, Information Assurance and Computing Environment certifications must be completed within six months of appointment.
- This position is designated as a Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area of 802 IT Project Manager proficiency level III within 12 months of appointment.
- The incumbent to participate in a continuous learning (CL) program as described in SECNAVINST 5239.20A and SECNAVINST 5239.2.
- An annual 20 hour minimum of Cyber Workforce related CL must be documented in a current individual development plan signed by both the employee and supervisor.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Serves as Cybersecurity (CS) specialist, responsible for the CS and security tasks associated with the assigned system(s)/program(s); 2) Provides guidance on accreditation procedures and appropriate computer security measures and guidance in support of system/program development and implementation; and 3) Is a subject matter expert providing authorities guidance to operational personnel to facilitate the execution of their day-to-day, lower-level functional responsibilities. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
