You will serve as an INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (IT) SPECIALIST (PLCYPLN) in the Naval Facilities Engineering System Command Southeast.
Duties
You will serve as a Cybersecurity Commissioning (CYCX) Project Manager (PM) with responsibilities for providing project management support and oversight in specific areas of IT/OT.
You will identify and analyze customers' information systems requirements or environments, designing or conduction analytical studies, cost-benefit analysis, and other types of research.
You will integrate IT/OT/Cybersecurity requirements into a broad spectrum of design and construction projects and tracking through completion to ensure continuous monitoring is implemented as planned.
You will provide guidance and direction to Program and Systems Owners to aide in incorporating cybersecurity requirements into MILCON and Public Works contracts.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: (1) Applying the business value of information; methods and approaches for sharing information through the use of IT assets, applying planning regulations and policies; (2) Identifying and resolving IT workforce issues sufficient to develop knowledge management program plans, policies and standards; (3) Applying principle and practice in the field of management and procedures, research, analysis and information technology; (4) Applying interrelationships of multiple IT specialties, IT architecture; IT developments and applications; (5) Applying oral and written communication techniques sufficient to ensure the integration of IT programs and services and develop solutions to integration/interoperability issues; and (6) Mastery of, and skill in, the design, develop, and manage systems that meet current and future business requirements and apply and extend, enhance, or optimize the existing architecture; manage assigned projects; communicate complex technical requirements to nontechnical personnel; and, prepare and present briefings to senior management officials on complex/controversial issues.
