The selectee of this position serves as a Supervisory Facility Operations Specialist. You will be responsible for management, oversight, renovation, programming, design, security, and new construction.
Duties
As a Supervisory Facility Operations Specialist at the GS-1640-14 level, some of your typical work assignments may include:
Responsible for directing and managing facilities and space management programs.
Direct and develop plans for subordinate staff to successfully accomplish program office goals and objectives.
Develop short- and long-range plans for the management of program and material resources to achieve program objects.
Responsible for management, oversight, renovation, programming, design, security, and new construction.

Qualifications
GS-14 TIME IN GRADE REQUIREMENTS: Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-13 grade level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-14 grade level. (Must submit your SF-50 that shows Time-in-Grade eligibility and reflects your title, series, and grade. No award SF-50 will be accepted).
You may qualify at the GS-1640-14 level, if you fulfill the following qualifications:
1. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes1.) Developing long range space management plans to include planning, management, and oversight; AND 2.) Evaluating the efficiency and effectiveness of a building operations and maintenance; AND 3.) Recommending program and policy changes to achieve the goals of space management programs.

Possession of the following competencies:
Planning and Evaluating
Supervisory
Program Management Safety Engineering
Manages Resources
