Duties
Oversee the Enterprise System Administration activities for the White Sands Missile Range Administrative and Test Support Networks with a technical team.
Ensure information is obtainable while maintaining required security measures of the infrastructure and information stored on the network.
Identifies and sets priorities for requirements that support the enterprise server and desktop information systems within WSMR.
Coordinate with other divisions/branches and tenants across White Sands Missile Range (WSMR) to develop and define specifications, scope of work, and definition of evaluation parameters
Develop procurement plans for the acquisition of supplies, services, training, studies, and unique equipment.
Serve as a Government Technical Monitor (GTM) to assist the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) in monitoring a contractor's performance.
Responsible for the configuration and lifecycle management of server and desktop computer systems in place at the White Sands Missile Range (WSMR).
Responsible for the design, implementation, validation and maintenance of server and desktop automation systems.
Requirements
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid State Driver's license to perform the duties of this position.
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Employee is required to meet and retain Information Assurance Technical (IAT) level II baseline and designated computing
environment certifications IAW DODD 8570.01.M AND DOD 8140.01.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance through the duration of your employment.
- This position requires the employee to occasionally travel away from the normal duty station up to 25% of the time.

In addition to meeting the basic requirement(s) above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below:
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) experience analyzing and formulating project requirements, such as resources, in support of IT projects; and 2) experience applying analytical processes to the planning, design and implementation of new and/or improved information systems to meet the business requirements of customers. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (NH-02/GS-11).
