You will serve as an IT SPECIALIST (INFOSEC) in the INTELLIGENCE OPERATIONS DIRECTORATE of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER PORT HUENEME DIVISION.
Duties
You will serve as an Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) and Cybersecurity (INFOSEC) subject matter expert (SME) in the Intelligence Operations Division.
You will provide oversight of cybersecurity and information assurance activities in support of the Division's Special Security Office (SSO) and Advanced Program Support Office (APSO).
You will assign and utilize available resources to meet mission requirements for all Division tasking, requirements, actions, and initiatives.
You will develop, implement, and evaluate information systems security and cybersecurity policy/programs in accordance with command policies.
You will coordinate and participate in internal audits/reviews and compliance inspections of Special Access Program (SAP), Controlled Access Program (CAP) and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security programs.
You will lead information system Assess and Authorization projects, meeting authorization standards for new systems and maintaining accreditation for systems awarded Authority to Operate (ATO) designations.
You will execute Risk Management Framework (RMF) process and authorization for assigned information systems and infrastructure.

- This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role code 802, proficiency level Advanced the incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: evaluating computer systems to provide guidance on resolving cybersecurity and system vulnerability issues and ensure compliance with cybersecurity requirements, policies, and regulations.
Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
