About the Position: This position is located at the US ARMY 1ST SPECIAL FORCES COMMAND ACOFS, G-3 in Fort Liberty, North Carolina.

Duties

Serves as the senior training specialist and advisor on training matters for the command. Develops, manages and/or recommends training plans, programs, procedures and policies in accordance with JCS, HQDA, TRADOC, USSOCOM, and USASOC directives and guidance. Performs supervisory duties and responsibilities for four GS civilians, Active Component/military enlisted personnel in the grades of E-8 and below. Assigns work and prepares plans to meet changes in workload; justifies revisions in staffing levels, work priorities, and deadlines.

Requirements

Experience in providing institutional expertise for training input into the planning, programming and budgeting system (PPBS). Experience in performing supervisory duties and responsibilities for civilians and Military personnel. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12 or above).
