About the Position: This position is located in US ARMY SPECIAL OPERATIONS COMMAND DCS, G-3 G-37 TRAINING FORT LIBERTY, NC
Duties
Plan, direct, manage and supervise the G37 Training Division.
Oversee the planning, resourcing and execution of force generation synchronization with the CV2 validation processes across ARSOF.
Plan, direct, and review the efforts and work of four senior civilians (GS-13) and three senior military officers (CW-4 and O-4 to O-5).
Serve as the key USASOC SME for developing, coordinating, publishing, implementing and executing the USASOC institutional training requirements and school quotas
Assist the SOMTC Director (O-5) in the supervision of the SOMTC staff and provides advice and assistance on all aspects of SOMTC operations, to include a six-million-dollar, collective training contract.
Plan, monitor and validate all division budget actions to include credit card and travel actions.
Supervise four Department of the Army Civilians at the Special Operations Training Detachment (SOTD) at Fort Polk, LA which includes their observer support to twenty combat training centers (CTC) rotations annually.
Develop ARSOF and USASOC Command policy, on behalf of the Department of the Army, for planning, coordinating, and managing the execution of Army processes designed to synchronize the manning, equipping and training of the generating force.
Supervise the integration of ARSOF units into Combat Training Center rotations and component training plans.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance.
- Temporary Duty (TDY) Travel 30% of the time may be required.
- This position is subject to a pre-employment drug screening, and random testing thereafter, to include testing based on reasonable suspicion and testing due to direct involvement with an on-duty accident.
- This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG). A one-year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.

Specialized Experience: One year specialized experience which includes experience that demonstrates a practical knowledge of the subject area of the position and of the methods and techniques of instruction, which includes 1.) Experience advising on training matters for a Military Command; 2) Experience developing, managing and recommending training plans, programs, procedures and policies in accordance with directives and guidance; 3.) Experience providing expertise for training input into the planning, programming and budgeting systems; 4.) Experience performing supervisory duties and responsibilities for civilians and Military personnel. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).
