About the Position: This position is located at the USAJFK SPECIAL WARFARE CENTER & SCHOOL in Camp Mackall, North Carolina.

Duties

Serves as the senior supervisory training specialist responsible for design, development and/or evaluation of the U.S. Army John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School Special Operations Training Programs. Recognize and analyze problems, conduct research, summarize results and make appropriate recommendations. Serves as a Contract Officer's Representative (COR), or Alternate Contracting Officer’s Representative (ACOR), and manager for live training contract. Advises key officials on policy, planning, review and research related to evaluation and quality assessment.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • A Secret security clearance will be needed.
  • TDY travel up to 25%.
  • A one-year Supervisory Probation may be required.
  • A one-year probation period may be required.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Education / Training Program AdministrationLearning and Program EvaluationTechnical CredibilityTraining and Education Analysis Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
