About the Position: This position is located at the USAJFK SPECIAL WARFARE CENTER & SCHOOL in Camp Mackall, North Carolina.
Duties
Serves as the senior supervisory training specialist responsible for design, development and/or evaluation of the U.S. Army John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School Special Operations Training Programs.
Recognize and analyze problems, conduct research, summarize results and make appropriate recommendations.
Serves as a Contract Officer's Representative (COR), or Alternate Contracting Officer’s Representative (ACOR), and manager for live training contract.
Advises key officials on policy, planning, review and research related to evaluation and quality assessment.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- A Secret security clearance will be needed.
- TDY travel up to 25%.
- A one-year Supervisory Probation may be required.
- A one-year probation period may be required.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Experience developing and/or managing Special Operations training, 2) Experience in advising commanders and/or managing staff to support all functions related to unit processes and performance, and 3) Experience in developing employee performance requirements and/or evaluating work performance, advising, counseling, managing and leading employees. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
