You will serve as a SUPPORT MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the NAVPHIBASE Little Creek; Department of Navy of COMNAVREG MIDLANT NORFOLK.

Salary Range:
GS-11: $73,572- $95,641
GS-12: $88,183- $114,634
Duties
You will analyze future force structure for capability and capacity gaps and recommend actions needed to fill the gaps.
You will develop and maintain standard reports, metrics, and forecasts aligned to customer priorities.
You will develop written material documenting cost schedule variance for manager review.
You will collect and verify data to assist with data analysis and reporting requirements.
You will update team members on new policies and procedures.
You will research , gather, and analyze information to prepare administrative correspondence and management reports.
You will maintain computer-based force-protection accounts to track electronic operational support products.
You will implement and maintain databases for manpower operations.
Requirements

- This position is eligible for part time, substantial or ad-hoc telework at the discretion of management.
- Normally work is performed by sitting, standing, and walking. moderate physical exertion would be required during supply handling and distribution, lifting, handling and moving up to 50 pounds.
- Work is generally performed in an office setting. Spends time outdoors including conduction training, surveys and evaluations.
Qualifications
GS-11:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Maintains all major request for supplies and equipment within the fire department; 2) Utilize GPS and computer software to develop and maintain street maps (including buildings, street centerlines and hydrants) of all naval facilities within the region; 3) Assist in preparation of justification statements to support budget recommendation. (e.g, cost benefit analysis, budget plans and objectives); and 4) Drafts and develops manpower justifications to higher authority when manpower recommendations are prepared. GS-12:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Manages all fire department's inventory and 2) Maintains record and files of contracts for ongoing requirements (e.g, breathing air analysis, ladder test, equipment cleaning and repair); 3) Conducts meetings and represents the command at various meetings, seminars and other events; and 4) Coordinating manpower budget actions to include Planning, Programming, Budget, and Execution Process and Program Objective Memorandum process to ensure manpower budget for current and future years. Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
