You will serve as a HIGH VOLTAGE ELECTRICIAN SUPERVISOR I in the Utilities Division of NAVAL FACILITIES ENG COMMAND HAWAII.
Duties
You will plan the operation, maintenance, repair, certification and inspection of High/Low Voltage Distribution Systems.
You will arrange for and coordinate all scheduled utility power outages on the Electrical Distribution System with the activities support to ensure the least amount of customer inconvenience.
You will plan and coordinate major maintenance and improvement projects for Electrical Distribution Systems.
You will analyze the preparation of electrical alterations, performance and maintain ability of High Voltage Systems regardless of whether the work is performed by branch personnel or contactors.
You will be responsible for all organizational, personnel, and and administrative matters of the branch.

- You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.

The Screen-out Element for this position is: 1) Planning, scheduling, observing and monitoring ongoing maintenance support functions to include technical analysis, storage, distribution of materials and equipment; 2) Distributing work and adjusting staffing levels to meet workload requirements in making repairs to buildings, fixtures, or utilities and related equipment and systems; 3) Providing guidance and direction to ensure that work meets quality level and deadlines; 4) Answering questions of other workers on procedures, policies, written instructions, and other directives in determining the cause of malfunctions and making repairs; 5) Observing the workmanship of other workers ensuring correct methods, procedures, processes, tools, test equipment, and specifications are used and followed; 6) Advising employees on proper materials and methods to use in making repairs. Installing, modifying, connecting, inspecting, troubleshooting and repairing overhead and underground high voltage primary electrical distribution lines; and 7) Working from wiring diagrams and drawings; applying voltage primary electrical distribution lines; repair and testing.
