You will serve as a GENERAL BUSINESS AND INDUSTRY SPECIALIST in the COST AND CHEDULE ANALYST DEPARTMENT of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.
Duties
You will ensure that all products and services provided to Cost Department Customers are in accordance with established Cost Department policy, procedures and processes.
You will provide Cost Department Customers with cost products that are accurate, timely, and consistent and meet Cost Department quality standards.
You will perform analyses for systems in all phases of the life cycle (development, production, sustainment) and involve state-of-the-art engineering and manufacturing techniques.
You will acquire the knowledge needed to maintain their technical proficiency in the area of cost analysis (theories, methods, techniques, tools, training etc).
You will fulfill all mandatory training requirements for continuous learning and professional development.
You will contribute to change and growth within the Cost Department by assisting in the research and development of new tools, techniques, processes, and training.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
GS-12:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Assisting in the development of Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and other schedule related products; 2) Understanding a schedule baseline and a critical path; and 3) Ensuring all schedule products are accurate, timely, and consistent.
GS-13
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Advanced concepts and enterprise activities; 2) production aircraft which includes major modifications/upgrades; 3) weapons such as missiles, targets, unmanned aerial vehicles, and ordnance programs; 4) avionics system/subsystem hardware and software; 5) Integrated Product Support (IPS), which includes support equipment, training systems, supply support, technical publications, facilities, and other related IPS management and engineering disciplines; 6) Operating & Support (O&S) where the focus is on the cost associated with fielded systems; 7) propulsion systems; 8) Integrated Project Management (IPM) which is based on the DOD/industry-wide Earned Value Management (EVM) System Guidelines and involves the analysis of EVM data provided in the Integrated Project Management Report (IPMR), Contract Funds Status Report (CFSR), and 9) processes, methods, and databases.
