You will serve as a GENERAL BUSINESS INDUSTRIAL SPECIALIST in the NAWCAD SYSTEMS ACQUISITION GROUP COST & SCHEDULE ANALYSIS DEPARTMENT of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.
Duties
You will act as a subject matter expert in the Execution Analysis and Support Process Group.
You will work with program stakeholders to ensure that division processes, toolkits, tools and training reflect the way the Division is operating and/or incorporating new and improved methods.
You will provide EVM/Scheduling technical/knowledge expertise to the division, particularly in the area of Execution Analysis and Support Review support (e.g. Integrated Baseline Reviews, Schedule Risk Assessments, Estimate at Completions, etc.).
You will need to have completed EACs and be familiar with using the Dartboard tool.
You will provide technical support of IT requirements, such as installing software, managing assets and software testing, for assigned program/project.
You will demonstrate effective time management skills through the successful execution of all assigned efforts.
You will contribute to change and growth within the Cost Department by assisting in the research and development of new tools, techniques, processes, and training.
You will perform other related duties as assigned.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position is a designated Critical Acquisition Position (CAP). You must sign a three-year tenure agreement prior to assuming the position unless a tenure waiver is approved.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level or pay band (DA-05 or equivalent GS-12/13) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Examples of specialized experience include the following: (1) Coordinating reviews and providing technical consultation to internal and external contacts regarding Earned Value Management, Technical Schedules, and high visibility air weapons system acquisition program events (e.g. milestone reviews, major policy decisions impacted by Cost, Earned Value Management, Schedule Risk Assessment, Integrated Baseline Reviews, and Estimates at Completion with significant cost/schedule implications, etc.); (2) Establishing processes, practices and training that ensure all technical products are accurate, timely, and consistent; and (3) Providing IT requirements, such as installing software, managing assets and software testing, in support of assigned program/project.
