You will serve as a SUPERVISORY FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the RESOURCE MANAGEMENT DIVISION of PERS WASHINGTON.
Duties
You will apply fiscal law, policies, regulations, principles, standards, and procedures to financial management activities.
You will manage and foster an environment that administers resources in a manner that instills public trust while accomplishing the mission.
You will monitor progress and evaluate outcomes to improve organizational efficiency and effectiveness.
You will identify and analyze problems, weighing relevance and accuracy of information.
You will prepare briefs for senior management on program execution and provide recommendations to correct program variances or problem areas.
You will utilize integrated federal financial management systems and sub-systems to extract data, identify and resolve systems issues, and maintain data integrity.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This is a Financial Management Level III certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Provide interpretive and analytical advice on financial systems, transactions, and program execution; 2) Direct and/or perform continuing financial systems program execution reviews, analysis, and appraisals of the major operating and financial support systems; 3) Utilize technical financial transactions in order to be the principal advisor on all of the various financial systems implementation, upgrades, and solutions.
