You will serve as a FOREIGN MILITARY ASSISTANCE SPECIALIST in the COUNTRY PROGRAM MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT of NET SEC ASTFLD ACT.
Duties
You will serve as the Command's Regional Defense Fellowship Program (RDFP) Training Manager.
You will coordinate with command representatives and U.S. Military Departments to ensure that education and training is properly programmed and ensure quotas are available.
You will participate in meetings, provides briefings, and develops training plans tailored specifically to meet Partner Nation requirements.
You will be responsible for developing and coordinating quantitative and qualitative foreign military training and education plans in support of the assigned program(s).
You will review the administration of the program to ensure compliance with Security Cooperation Education and Training Program (SCETP) policies, procedures and regulations.
You will ensure that acceptance or exceptions to programmed training are communicated to the country in a manner that ensures efficient administration of training programs.
Requirements

- This is a Non-Key Security Cooperation Workforce (SCW) position and requires a DoD SCW Certification. Selectee must obtain and maintain certification within prescribed timeframes. SCW level required: SC4D1
- Travel is required on a national basis for the purpose of meetings (to include U.S. and foreign ships), conferences, seminars, and workshops.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing knowledge of principles, methods, practices, and techniques of education and various instructional delivery systems to administer professional DoD training programs; 2) Developing processes to manage, control, and oversee foreign military training programs; 3) Coordinating and scheduling students based on training needs and availability of courses; and 4) Developing presentations and briefings to detail issues, funding, and status of educational programs.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience. Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.M., if related
