About the Position: This position is located at the U.S Army Sustainment Command, 407th Army Field Support Brigade, Logistic Readiness Center, at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri.

Duties

Receive and process incoming shipments. Verify quantities and types of items agree with shipping documents. Receive requests for issuing or shipping supplies and equipment. Prepare shipping documents. Operate a forklift with a load capacity of 10,000 pounds.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position requires the completion of a pre-employment Physical Examination and an annual examination thereafter to ensure the continued, required level of physical health and ability or fitness to perform the duties of the position.
• This position has a requirement to frequently lift and carry items weighing up to 70 pounds and to occasionally handle items over 70 pounds in the regular performance of duties. Assistance is available in lifting heavier items.
• The duties of this position require the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License in one of the 50 U.S. states or possessions to operate vehicles.
• The incumbent will be required to pass and maintain forklift operator certification within agency mandated time frames.
• Appointment to this position is subject to a one year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
