About the Position: This position is located at the 407th Army Field Support Brigade, Logistics Readiness Center, Fort Leonard Wood, Supply and Services Division.

Duties

Receive requests for issue or shipment of supplies and equipment. Determine docking area for off-loading. Operate forklifts/motor vehicles safely. Process incoming shipments from supported customer units or commercial shipments. Participate in inventories of stock on hand as required. Issue items listed on Delegation of Authority Card (DA Form 1687). Assemble items in temporary storage area for issue or further distribution to appropriate storage area. Perform warehousing duties such as receiving, storing, issuing, and shipping sensitive items such as small arms, classified items, and communication security material.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position requires the completion of a pre-employment physical examination and an annual examination thereafter to ensure the continued, required level of physical health and ability or fitness to perform the duties of the position.
• The duties of this position require the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a valid state driver's license in one of the 50 U.S. states or possessions to operate vehicles.
• This position has a requirement to lift up to 70 pounds in the regular performance of duties.
• This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 5% of the time.
• This position may require shift work or an irregular tour of duty to provide coverage on evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations.
• This position may require the incumbent to work overtime.
• This position requires the incumbent to pass and maintain forklift certification and driving test.

Failure to meet this Screen Out Element will result in an ineligible rating. To meet the basic eligibility, you must receive at least two point on the screen-out element indicated above and must have an average of two points on all the job elements listed below.
