You will serve as a Supervisory Engineering Technician in the Threat Target Systems Department, Airborne Threat Simulation Division of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV POINT MUGU.

Duties

You will provide direction to Aero/Mechanical Engineers, Electronic Engineers, Quality Assurance, Program Planners, Drawing and Electronic Technicians and contractor employees. You will manage design projects following a System Engineering Technical Review (SETR) process, supporting DoD weapon system Test and Evaluation programs and Fleet training operational support. You will manage program planners, acquisition cycles, Infrastructure Work Centers. You will establish, maintain, mentor, and lead the necessary teams to execute the programs to meet the developmental and operational support schedules. You will perform work related to program management, ERP processes, design engineering, Navy acquisition policy and procedures, budgeting, funds management, planning, and scheduling.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09-12) or pay band (NM-03) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector in order to perform the duties of a Supervisory Engineering Technician. Specialized experiences must include duties related to the following: (1) Implementing and sustaining the organization's Enterprise Resource Planning Business Software; (2) Performing work related to acquisition processes, project planning, supply chain management, threat system sustainment, and engineering change proposals/orders; and (3) Leading and managing quality and timeliness of the deliverables associated to Threat System Integration, Weapons Replicable Assembly, Aero-Mechanical, Drawing Team, Acquisition, Quality Assurance, and Inventory and Shipping/Receiving.
