Duties
In this position, you will:
Support the Grants and/or Other Transaction Specialists with the award administration throughout the award cycle (pre award, post award, and closeout).
Retrieve information from multiple Federal systems to complete the pre-award requirements, prepare award documents, support the reporting compliance process, manage the award closeout, and assist with the distribution of documents.
Interpretate Federal regulations, business policies, procedures, and business practices.

Qualifications
Applicants must have one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to at the GS-04 level (ZS-II at NIST). Specialized experience is defined as experience providing a variety of technical and administrative support activities utilizing automated electronic and computer systems.
OR
4 years above high school
OR
Combination of education and experience which is equivalent to the one year of specialized experience. (NOTE: only education in excess of 2 years or 60 semester hours is creditable towards meeting the specialized experience requirement)
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
