You will serve as a Public Affairs Specialist in the Department of the Navy (DON) Office of the Chief of Information (CHINFO).
Duties
You will Serve as the asset management program manager.
You will partner with civilian and military organizations seeking enterprise level military (USN) aerial participation at community events.
You will act as a key advisor to senior leaders, congressional offices and the naval aviation community on effective and appropriate use of aviation assets to support Navy communication and recruiting objectives at public outreach events.
You will prepare written and oral recommendations in accordance with Dept. of the Navy public affairs instruction, communication strategy and outreach goals, leveraging in-depth policy expertise to support and guide aviation initiatives in outreach.
You will be responsible for overseeing the integration of logistical, operational and public affairs support between military units and the civilian organizations they support.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Equivalency assessing, coordinating, organizing and executing outreach projects and programs; policy expertise to include reviewing and interpreting Aviation operations, assets, instructions, policies, and regulations; experience researching and implementing public affairs/outreach and Department of Defense policy to develop oral and written recommendations to senior executive leadership; AND implementation of community outreach strategies and tactics pertaining to Aviation programs.
