About the Position: This position is a DOD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 USC 1599f. Employees occupying CES positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. ??????This position is located with the 7th Signal Command (Theater) in Fort Eisenhower, GA.
Duties
Prepare, compile, publish, and ensure the validity and accuracy of data developed and uniformity in reports and studies related to civilian personnel.
Carry out special projects and/or assists in carrying out projects or portions of broader studies to resolve controversial civilian HR issues for the 7th Signal Command.
Provides assistance to managers and supervisors based on analysis of workforce factors such as turnover, absenteeism, fill rates, etc., to establish the true nature of any related personnel management problems.
Manage and maintain full visibility over all Request Personnel Action's (RPA's) from cradle to grave and provide advice/assistance in all stages of the recruitment process.
Coordinates actions on a wide variety of civilian HR issues, such as qualification requirements, security clearances, employee benefits and entitlements, release dates, Entrance on Duty (EOD) dates, PCS orders, and related information.
Advises, identifies, and analyzes staffing issues and problems.

- This position requires the incumbent to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.

To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe one year specialized experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience would be demonstrated by providing functional and procedural guidance on a full range of civilian personnel matters; creating, review and tracking of civilian requests for personnel actions, resolving staffing issues in the areas of benefits, pay entitlements, leave and/or reduction in force etc.; making recommendations on civilian recruitment strategies, and coordinate actions on qualifications requirements and Permanent Change in Station orders; and using computer systems to generate reports, Permanent Change in Station orders; producing recruitment, retention and relocation incentives.
