You will serve as a SOCIAL SCIENCE PROGRAM SPECIALIST within NSA ANNAPOLIS.
Duties
You will manage the Training and Education component of the FSC.
You will liaison with other social service organizations in the military and civilian sector.
You will establish appropriate standard operating procedures and requirements for each FSC program.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Developing, planning, managing, coordinating, scheduling, and teaching a wide variety of social service program courses and workshops designed to enrich the lives of military personnel and families within the community; 2) Modifying, designing, and implementing a marketing plan to communicate Family Service Center programs; and ) Assessing community and individual needs to determine the best array of workshops and seminars for a long range Family Service Center education and training plan.

Applicants must meet the following positive education qualifications requirements of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualifications Standards Manual: Applicants must possess a behavioral or social science degree, or a degree in a related discipline appropriate to the position being filled OR have a combination of education and experience that provided knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field OR have four years of appropriate experience that demonstrates knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.
Additionally, a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree OR three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree OR a combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience may be used to meet the specialized experience requirement.
