About the Position: This is an Administrative Support Assistant (OA), GS-0303-06/07 position with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Little Rock District, Resource Regulatory Division. This position is located in Little Rock, AR.

Note: Management may select at the GS-06 or the GS-07 grade level. Full performance is at the GS-07. Promotion is at discretion of management.
Duties
Review records of subordinate branch and sections to insure property records are accurate and adequate.
Serve as the Training Coordinator assistant for the Division/Office functioning as the contact for training activities for assigned employees.
Review, study, analyze and implement new and/or revised instructions affecting the organizations operations, personnel, reports and various other administrative activities.
Provide administrative support for the Branch and Section Chiefs, coordinating clerical and day-to-day administrative support activities that are typically required to accomplish the work of the organization.
Prepare travel and training requests in the Corps of Engineers Financial Management System (CEFMS).
Act as ordering officer and GPC credit cardholder to purchase supplies or services under authorized dollar threshold or as an Authorized Receiving Official.
Perform timekeeping and related duties, using an automated reporting system, if required.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires a typing proficiency of at least 40 words per minute (WPM) based on a 5 minute sample with 3 or fewer errors.

Specialized Experience:
For the GS-06 level: One year of specialized experience which includes 2 of the 3 following duties: 1) entering data into an automated reporting or financial management system; OR 2) preparing travel orders or vouchers for an office; OR 3) performing administrative support duties for an office, such as preparing correspondence, maintain calendar and schedules, or timekeeping. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05).
For the GS-07 level: One year of specialized experience which includes 2 of the 3 following duties: 1) Preparing and tracking purchase request to maintain an audit trail of government funds OR 2) administering purchases of supplies, equipment, and services using the Government Purchase Card (GPC) or similar card OR 3) performing administrative support duties such as personnel administration and property record management. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
Time in Grade Requirement:
For the GS-06 level: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-05).
For the GS-07 level: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
