You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the PLANS & PROGRAMS DIVISION (SP10), OPERATIONAL SUPPORT SERVICES BRANCH (SP15) of STRATEGIC SYSTEMS PROGRAMS.
Duties
You will formulate budget and cost estimates to support plans, programs, and activities, including presenting and defending budget estimates before authorities.
You will review and evaluate budget requests, control, and reporting of obligations and expenditures.
You will analyze and recommend costs-benefits of alternative methods of financial management of organization's programs and administrative operations.
You will provide advice on effective and efficient methods for the acquisition and use of funds to support the organization's programs and activities.
You will ensure that services billed are in compliance with the contract specification and have been satisfactorily performed.
You will resolve of problems which may arise between vendors, contractors, Defense Financial Accounting Systems (DFAS), and SSP.
Requirements

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or NH-02 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-11), or equivalent pay band (NH-02) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Performing financial management analysis and executing funding utilizing Navy Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) or like financial management systems to ensure operational effectiveness and efficiencies for acquisition programs or projects.
