This position is located on under the Customer Loan Servicing Directorate, Customer Assistance Division, Payment Assistance Division (PAD).
The incumbent serves as the principal program and administrative support to the PAD Division Director, serves as a "confidential employee" who acts in a confidential capacity with respect to the supervisor who formulates or effectuates management policies in the field of labor-management relations. Division's focal point for personnel actions.
Duties
This position reports to the Division Director and is responsible for performing management analysis support functions essential to track and report on activities and outcomes affecting accomplishment of the Division’s mission.
Prepares, reviews and tracks personnel action requests. Maintains position description (PD) file and ensures PDs are up to date. Keeps track of recertifications of PDs. Reviews telework agreements for organization.
Tracks mandatory AgLearn classes. Maintains projections of when classes are to be taken and consolidates reports of which employees have taken
the classes. Maintains bilingual position roster.
Validates awards and monitors Equal Employment Opportunity course statistics for managers to ensure program deadlines are met and any deficiencies in information received are addressed.
Requirements

Qualifications
Applicants must meet all qualifications and eligibility requirements by the closing date of the announcement including time-in-grade restrictions and specialized experience as defined below.
Time in grade: Current federal employees applying for a promotion opportunity must meet time-in-grade (TIG) requirement of 52 weeks of service at the next lower grade level (GS-06) in the normal line of progression for the position being filled.
GS-07: Applicants must possess one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, or it's non-federal equivalent.
Specialized experience is defined as performing receptionist duties including answering the phone; greeting, directing, and accompanying visitors around the office; supporting staff in areas of: organization, records, reports, forms, files, communication, human resources/staffing planning, and directives management; providing administrative support by preparing written correspondence, analyzing documents and/or data to generate reports, or to identify discrepancies; creating documents using automated software, such as Microsoft Office, by editing documents, revising spreadsheets, updating power-point presentations; maintaining records, organizational charts, calendars, making travel arrangements, scheduling appointments/meetings, and managing timekeeping duties.
There is no substitution of education for experience at the GS-7 grade level.
