This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command.
It is in the Professional Work Category at the Entry/Developmental Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA OC/CE/PACIFIC FIELD COMMAND GROUP.
Duties
Provides authoritative administrative support for the DISA Pacific Field Command section.
Serves as the DISA Pacific command section content manager for records, files, publications, and reports manager.
Receives and reviews all incoming calls, mail, distribution and documents prepared for the Command Deck.
Responsible for Command calendars, conference rooms, property and supplies.
Coordinates and processes all aspects of travel for Command Deck staff utilizing the Defense Travel System (DTS).
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.

- This national security position, which may require access to classified information, requires a favorable suitability review and security clearance as a condition of employment. Failure to maintain security eligibility may result in termination.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain access to classified information and eligibility to have the appropriate security clearance as a condition of employment. May be subject to initial and random drug testing for this position, if applicable.

Qualifying Experience:
To qualify at the GG-09, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service.
For this position, qualifying experience is defined as:
Experience in Microsoft Office, coordinating travel arrangements and processing Defense Travel System authorizations and vouchers, maintaining automated calendars and record libraries, preparing and reviewing outgoing correspondence for format, punctuation, spelling, grammar and compliance with procedures and regulations.

Education
GG-9 Substitution of Education for Experience: Two full years of progressively higher level graduate education, Master's or equivalent graduate degree, may be substituted to meet the qualifying experience requirement.
