You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the BUISNESS OPERATIONS OFFICE of the DIGITAL ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER, located in Port Hueneme, CA
Duties
You will perform staff administrative analytical and evaluative work related to program operations, management, and organizational efficiency and productivity.
You will identify resources (staff, funding, equipment, and facilities) required to support varied levels of program operations.
You will identify actual or potential problem areas, trends, significant program accomplishments, merit and deficient situations, areas of imbalance, and similar factors in the program involved.
You will develop and recommend program objectives, operations and resources for new programs or to maximize effectiveness in established programs.
You will present recommendations and conclusions based on analysis and evaluations to management officials.
You will advise management on the distribution of work among positions and organizations.
You will evaluate, advise, and develop the organization, methods, and procedures for providing administrative support systems.
You will research and investigate new or improved business and management practices, processes, and tools for application to agency programs or operations.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector analyzing data and reports on program requirements (e.g. manpower, budget, resources) to develop and implement operating procedures for the increased efficiency of administrative or technical programs.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector conducting and evaluating studies on program requirements (e.g. manpower, budget, or resources) to develop reports to identify issues and make recommendations for improvement of the organization's efficiency, work methods, or procedures.
