Duties
This position is located within the Department of the Interior, Office of Offshore Regulatory Programs (OORP), Inspection Policy Branch located in various locations.
At the full performance level (GS-14) the major duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
1. Serves as a key contact on all matters related to the bureau's Offshore Inspection Program.

Minimum Qualification Requirements:
To qualify for this position you must meet the Specialized Experience for the series to which you are applying.
Specialized Experience
To qualify for the GS-14, you must possess at least one full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level in the Federal service, or comparable experience not gained through Federal service. Specialized experience is experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is in or related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience is defined as demonstrated experience:
1) Identifying complex problems/issues, analyzing solutions, and taking the steps to achieve resolution.
2) Developing policies, procedures, and/or guidance for inspection and enforcement of regulatory requirements for offshore oil, gas, or renewable energy projects.
3) Managing projects and leading teams to analyze and improve the effectiveness of inspection policy and guidelines and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
4) Communicating complex issues, solutions, and data to a range of audiences, and presenting recommendations and advising leadership both orally and in writing.
