About the Position: You'll serve as a full service realty specialist and team leader responsible for the effective management, administration, and direction of programs and activities in real estate for acquisition, management, disposal, planning and control functions.
Duties
Plan, organize, and direct the real estate acquisition, management, and disposal programs for POH’s area of responsibility.
Responsible for planning, directing and accomplishing the varied complex and important tasks concerning the management utilization and/or temporary or final disposal of real property
Prepare budget data and exercise of cost control functions.
Participate in solution of controversial or more difficult real estate and appraisal problems.
Exercises technical and administrative supervision over the work of subordinate realty staff.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Temporary duty (TDY) travel is approximately 20%.
- This position requires you to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.
- Incumbent must have or be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.
- This position requires the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a driver's license in one of the 50 US states or possessions and any installation and/or DoD requirement.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Preparing and negotiating contracts to acquire real property; 2) Planning final disposal of real property such as the out-granting of surplus real property, and; 3) Preparing budget data and exercise of cost control functions. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
