The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a Military Personnel Liaison analyzing and developing recommendations to resolve substantive problems and issues of effectiveness and efficiency involving the administrative programs. Liaisons with Space Force, Air Force, and local installations.
Duties
Serves as the unit Military Personnel Liaison supporting the mission.
Serves as a program manager for the unit on all elements of active duty military personnel specialties assigned.
Performs updates, inquiries, and process actions through military personnel data systems.
Reviews products to identify and correct mismatched data in system and to ensure projections and confirmations have consummated and required actions have been taken.
Uses the ability to understand a standardized body of personnel rules, regulations, procedures, and precedents to resolve interrelated procedural and substantive problems while performing daily tasks.

Qualifications
In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower broadband NH-01, equivalent to the next to lower grade GS-04 or equivalent in the Federal Service. Specialized experience must include in performing a full range of force management tasks involved in duty status, evaluations, duty information changes, Unit Personnel Management Roster, Unfavorable Information Files, G-Series Orders, Awards and Special Programs. Developing plans related to resource management, manpower, military and civilian personnel or force development, and experience with various automation software specializing in personnel and resource management systems.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
Knowledge and skills to apply a standardized body of personnel rules, regulations, procedures, and precedents to mission requirements.
Knowledge of coding for personnel records using the automated personnel system to receive personnel action requests, reconcile with guidance, and develop supporting courses of action.
Skill in entering and retrieving personnel action data; correcting data errors; and inputting, storing, retrieving data and performing quality review of data elements in military personnel data systems.
Knowledge of extensive rules, procedures, and operations as applied to the Headquarters Task Management Tool.
Knowledge of secretarial/clerical assignments and office automation software programs, tools and techniques to perform the procedural and administrative work of the office, such as preparing and editing documents, maintaining files/records, making and preparing travel arrangements, composing various reports, letters, spreadsheets, databases, graphs, inquiries, and technical correspondence.
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; negotiate complex issues sufficient to receive, respond to, and ensure complete resolution of problems; plan, organize, and direct the functions and staff of an organization; and maintain good working relationships.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
VOLUNTEER WORK EXPERIENCE: Refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service Programs (i.e., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student and social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge and skills that can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
