Duties
You will serve as the technical expert in labor and employee relations with full responsibility for providing advisory services.
You will provide authoritative technical assistance to management on issues such as handling and resolution of adverse actions, grievances, and appeals.
You will provide advice and assist management in taking disciplinary and adverse actions.
You will provide advice and assist management on labor relations issues, contract interpretations, and interactions with union representatives.
You will serve as the technical expert in labor and employee relations, providing advice and guidance to multiple customers on a wide variety of matters.
You will advise and assist on labor relations activities including labor-management partnership/general bargaining unit agreements, bargaining unit status determinations, basic employee rights/privileges and appropriate representation.
You will review and advise management on performance plans and provide technical support.
You will stay abreast of developments, trends, and significant policy and legal decisions in labor and employee relations.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band NH-02 (GS-11 equivalent) grade level in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing human resources senior management advisory services in human resource functions (such as classification, recruitment, placement, labor/employee relations, or human resources development) to ensure program efficiency and mission accomplishment.
