About the Position: Supervisory Production Controller, GS-1152-12, in the Directorate of Production Management.

Duties

Manage the branch to meet both internal and external customer requirements and ensure the accomplishment of program planning and control functions to support the depot maintenance mission. Review incoming workload, assign to the proper personnel, monitor progress, and identify problems or barriers. Improve organizational environment by application of effective personnel management, such as hiring, training, awards, and discipline. Conduct staff meetings with subordinates, and instruct in the interpretation and application of overall policies and operational methods.

Requirements

• Must obtain and maintain a Secret security Clearance.
• Must obtain and maintain a Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification through Project Management Institute -OR- an APICS/Association of Operations Management, Certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) within two years.
