You will serve as a Technician in the Unmanned and Theater Undersea Warfare systems Department of NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-04 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to the GS-11 and GS-12.

Duties

You will support undersea area surveillance/combat weapon systems and weapons. You will perform duties as an unmanned vehicle technician and subject mater expert for hull, command and control, navigation, and propulsion systems maintenance and operational support.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-03 pay band (GS-09/10 grade level equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: applying a wide range of technical engineering principles to provide operational support for unmanned vehicle systems and programs(e.g. navigation and propulsion maintenance) to support the organizations operations.
