You will serve as Supervisory Engineering Technician in the Facilities and Infrastructure Management Department of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST.

Duties

You will ensure the sustainment, restoration and modernization (SRM) of major aviation repair and overhaul industrial complex. You will utilize various qualitative and quantitative methods for the assessment and improvement of program effectiveness. You will provide the resources for planning, design, development, facility acquisition, facility disposition, integration, and delivery of all depot-planning elements to support facilities, processes, operations, and equipment. You will interpret policies and procedures promulgated by higher authorities to meet project/program requirements. You will accomplish administrative and supervisory duties in support agency goals and objectives. You will perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service. Examples of specialized experience include: (1) Demonstrating in-depth working knowledge to oversee the sustainment, restoration, and modernization (SRM) of a major aviation repair and overhaul industrial complex; (2) Utilizing complexf qualitative and quantitative methods for the assessment and improvement of assigned program effectiveness; (3) Applying theories and techniques of facility engineering and architecture to assist to solve complex industrial facility and production equipment installation/upgrade/repairs; (4) Developing, coordinating and execution facility project management plans for industrial facility operations; (5) Participating in leading, resourcing and managing these facility projects thru assigned teams; and (6) Identifying, distributing and balancing workload and tasks among subordinates in accordance with established workflow, skill level, and occupational specializations.
