You will serve as a GG-0132-15 Supervisory Intelligence Specialist at the KENNEDY MARITIME ANALYSIS CENTER in Suitland, MD. As the Department Head of the Counternarcotics Department, Kennedy Maritime Analysis Center, and the Counternarcotics Program Manager for the Office of Naval Intelligence, you will be responsible for the Non-Commercial, Commercial, and Illicit Finance Divisions, comprised of a mixed workforce of civilian, contractor, and military employees.
Duties
You will provide leadership and oversight to counternarcotics analysis and production in support of the U.S. Counter Drug Intelligence Communities, Joint and Maritime Component Commanders, Theater Intelligence Centers, and other agencies.
You will provide tailored maritime intelligence support to non-traditional customers including federal law enforcement agencies, other law enforcement agencies, Department of Defense counterdrug forces, and foreign military.
You will coordinate and submit Counter Narcotics Program congressional justifications, Program Objective Memorandum documents, posse comitatus reports, and proper use attestations to responsible program offices.
You will plan, defend, allocate, and execute the department's annual budget and manage personnel resources in accordance with the Navy's and mission partner's priorities and objectives.
You will lead and manage the department in support of mission accomplishment.
You will direct the work of each division, reassign employees, and restructure the organization as necessary to meet emerging real-world requirements.
You will engage with subordinate supervisors on employee performance and monitor and review the professional development of the workforce.
Requirements

- You must obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance and access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). Failure to do so may result in the withdrawal of an offer or removal. Indicate the level and date of your clearance in your resume.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or pass the test. You will be subject to random testing.

- All Defense Intelligence positions under the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) are in the excepted service by specific statute, 10 U.S.C. 1601. This position is in the excepted service and does not confer competitive status.
- This position requires a periodic polygraph examination.
- This position may require a 2-year DCIPS trial period.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector, such as:
1. Provide leadership and oversight to counternarcotics analysis and production for tailored maritime intelligence support to non-traditional customers.
2. Plan, defend, allocate, and execute the division's annual budget and manage personnel resources in accordance with the department's priorities and objectives.
3. Serve as the representative at interagency policy boards, chair working groups and subcommittees, participate in budget committees, and participate in interagency coordination efforts to write joint intelligence assessments.
4. Direct the work in support of mission accomplishment, engage with subordinate supervisors on employee performance and maximizing employee potential, and make recommendations about recognition, awards, and promotions.
