You will serve as the Department Head of the Acoustic Intelligence (ACINT) Department in Farragut Technical Analysis Center (Farragut) at a GG-15 level responsible for leading, directing, and managing the department in accordance with directives and guidance from Farragut and the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI). This position is located in Suitland, MD in the FARRAGUT TECHNICAL ANALYSIS CENTER.

Duties

You will be responsible for developing Farragut Command positions on ACINT. You will develop and provide recommendations to the Commanding Officer and the Farragut Staff PMO on AI/ML capabilities to improve ACINT analysis and production processes. You will maintain liaison with appropriate government activities and navy sponsored civilian contractors in pursuit of acoustic intelligence studies.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as: Overseeing the production of acoustic materials supporting the sonar Research Development Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) and training communities. Providing recommendations to improve Acoustic Intelligence (ACINT) analysis and production processes. Providing oversight and management of analysis and production of sonar and acoustic intelligence products.
