You will serve as a DUPUTY SUPPLY OFFICER in the SUPPLY DEPARTMENT of EXU-1 CIVILIAN PERSONNEL, located in Indian Head, MD.
Duties
You will provide leadership, guidance, motivation, and tasking for personnel in the EXU-1 Supply Department.
You will utilize metrics towards evaluation against established performance expectations and standards.
You will assist the department head with providing/disseminating guidance, direction, policies and procedures throughout the activity on all aspects of Procurement Request (PR) creation.
You will ensure staff receives the proper feedback and training to facilitate proper PR procedures.
You will identify, analyze, and provide guidance to resolve a range of asset management problems.
You will extract data from Navy Enterprise Resource Program (ERP) for analysis to determine accuracy, consistency, and standardization.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). You must be certified as a Career Field Life Cycle Logistics (L) Level 2. Certification is required within 24 months of appointment.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-4 (GS-11/12 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Analyzing and evaluating supply data to oversee asset management, procurement policies, procedures, or regulations for a Military Activity.
