You will serve as a Supervisory Supply Management Specialist in the Public Works Department Indian Head, Production Division of NAVAL FAC ENGINEERING CMD WASH.
Duties
You will establish goals and objectives for the branch that support the overall mission of the PWD and NAVFAC.
You will supervise all personnel and functions of the Supply Branch and ensure the quality and timeliness of the work produced by the branch.
You will plan, direct, and coordinate work of the branch and promote efficient and economical work operations.
You will perform program management and oversight of the Supply Branch’s functions to include purchasing, central receiving, storage, warehouse operations, inventory management, and inventory accuracy.
You will complete physical management reporting, financial reports, and data calls.
You will develop written operating procedures and instructions to ensure continued high level performance and effectiveness of supply operations.

- You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
- This position may require occasional travel from normal duty station. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft.
- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Supervising all personnel and functions of the Supply Branch and ensuring the quality and timeliness of the work produced by the branch; 2) Establishing goals and objectives for the branch that support the overall mission of the PWD and NAVFAC; 3) Developing, advocating, executing, and monitoring the Supply Branch's budget; 4) Managing workload and adjusts resources to meet customer requirements, schedules and priorities; 5) Planning, directing and coordinating work of the branch and promoting efficient and economical work operations.
