You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the Systems Engineering Department (E) of NAVSURFWARCEN IH DIV. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-03 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to the GS-09 and GS-10 grade levels. The full performance level NT-04 is equivalent to the GS-11 and 12 grade levels.

Duties

You will serve as a Procurement Processing Specialist (PPS) for purchasing equipment, Operating Materials and Supplies, and services using MILSTRIP, Government Purchase Card (GPC) and /or Outgoing Funding Documents. You will serve as a Purchase Requisition (PR) creator responsible for creating PRs in Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP) systems. You will be responsible for purchasing materials and equipment via MILSTRIP and the Government Purchase Card (GPC) means of acquisition. You will work closely with customers to initiate the procurement process by ensuring all required information and forms necessary to make purchases have been provided. You will be responsible for tracking MILSTRIP and GPC transactions in ERP from initiation to close-out ensuring to resolve any discrepancies associated with purchases under their purview.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band, NT-02 (GS-05 through GS-08 equivalent grade level) or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: utilizing an automated system to assist with the purchasing and procurement of materials and equipment in support of purchasing operations. Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

Successful completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree

OR

Successful completion of two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree

OR
