You will serve as a SUPPLY TECHNICIAN (HAZMAT) of NAVSUP FLT LOGISTICS CNTR JACKSONVILLE.
Duties
You will store hazardous material (HAZMAT) verifying regulations are followed.
You will develop management reports to determine HAZMAT control efficiency and accuracy of data entry.
You will research current applicable governing regulations for hazardous materials (HAZMAT) handling and disposal to remain apprised of compliance requirements.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver's license.
- You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
- You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1) Establishing methods and procedures on Navy Enterprise Resource Programs (N-ERP), Hazmat and CHRIMP management regulations and policies in order to adapt established methods and procedures to meet the requirements of particular situations; 2) Maintaining inventory control of stock and to produce various reports associated with receipts, issues, scrapping, gains, losses, returns, among other; 3) Regulating and reporting requirements necessary to prepare complex supply and environmental reports; 4) Receiving, issuing, inspecting, storing, labeling, shelf-life management and delivery of hazardous materials.
