You will serve as a SUPERVISORY TECHNICIAN in the Instrumentation and Information Systems Division, Performance Assessment Department of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CTR CORONA DIV.
Duties
You will be responsible with building technical capacity to build a reliable and secure Research, Development, Test and Evaluation network infrastructure.
You will assign, schedule, and fully task engineers, scientists, and technicians, using network engineering principles in order to design, maintain, and operate a purpose-built Research, Development, Test and Evaluation network environment.
You will recruit, train, and develop engineers, scientists, and technicians in order to build and maintain technical capacity to support all systems domains.
You will set expectations and evaluate performance of direct reports on a continual basis in order to help them achieve optimal results.
You will manage conflicts and mediate resolutions quickly and effectively via one-to-one methods or by working with Command's Labor and Employees Relations resources.
You will implement quality assurance; conduct network operation reviews and optimize network infrastructure using industry principles.
You will actively collaborate and consult with IT network and cloud industry experts to solve challenges and aid in prototyping solutions.
You will optimize performance in support of advanced data analytics, data analysis, data engineering, and software development.

- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS 11/12) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing network program data to identify issues, develop reports, and recommend solutions for the improvement and optimization of network infrastructures.
