About the Position: Serve as Senior Plans and Operations Manager and the Enterprise Integration and Synchronization Division (EISD) Chief within the Vice Provost for Academic Affairs (VPAA) , Army University, Combined Arms Center (CAC) and reports directly to the VPAA Director.

Duties

As a Plans and Operations Program Manager, you will perform the following duties which is not an all-inclusive list: Develop, integrate, plan and synchronize EISD projects and missions. Oversees overall EISD staff actions, projects, and activities requiring personal concurrence/approval and involvement of the Director VPAA and Provost for Army University. Develop plans and programs for strengthening coordination of the development of future Army military leadership education architectures. Assist in the responsibility for assuring that leader development and education policies, plans and programs are fully integrated, synchronized and consistent among the Army's education systems. The position regularly interfaces with Army University staff, CAC staff, academic institutions, and leading practitioners in college-level leadership and management education. Attends meetings and represents VPAA and the Enterprise at CAC, TRADOC and DA level conferences. Contact with influential individuals or organized groups include contracting officials and professional associations. Provide leadership, professional guidance, decisions, advice and assistance on all matters relating to military and civilian personnel and contractor management. Has primary responsibility for all aspects of the planning, preparation, execution, and assessment of the Army Learning Coordination Council (ALCC) which is one of CAC's four overarching forums.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.
  • Temporary Duty (TDY), up to 20% of the time.
  • Supervisor probationary period may be required if not previously completed.

Specialized experience is defined as leading teams involved in the planning and synchronizing of leader development programs and policies and briefing senior leadership on leader development initiatives or plans.
