You will serve as an Administrative/Technical Specialist in the Financial Management Branch, Business Operations Division, Business Directorate of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER PORT HUENEME DIVISION.
Duties
You will serve as the Team Lead to members of the Business Directorate Financial Branch mentoring, guiding, and engaging junior analysts and maintaining oversight of their work.
You will train and assist personnel and provide knowledge and functional guidance relative to financial management.
You will be responsible for all aspects of Funds Management operating within a working capital fund business model.
You will collaborate with financial leaders in the development and execution of policies and procedures that assure compliant financial operations.
You will develop and formulate a spend plan for assigned task resource requirements for the current fiscal year and out-years.
You will be responsible for responding to internal and external funding-related data calls and determining the best data collection methods to use and analysis needed.
You will create budgets, analyze, interpret, evaluate program funding plans, monitor execution, and identify actual or potential funding issues, make decisions, and provide sound financial advice.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: utilizing financial systems (e.g. Navy Enterprise Resource Planning) to evaluate program funding plans, monitor budget execution, and resolve funding issues for a Navy Working Capital Fund (NWCF) command.
