You will serve as a EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIALIST in the Nuclear Engineering and Planning Department (Code 2300) of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF.

Duties

You will perform sensitive corporate management studies and audits for the Nuclear Engineering and Planning Manager, SES-01. You will prepare sensitive high level corporate and management studies with minimal guidance for the Nuclear Engineering and Planning Manager You will maintain and control the Nuclear Engineering and Planning Manager and Head Nuclear Engineer calendars advising them daily of appointments or conferences. You will independently develop forms when studies are conducted or directives from higher authority indicate a need. You will screen all of the mail addressed to the Nuclear Engineering and Planning Manager and Head Nuclear Engineer, rerouting those items that can be handled by Divisions within the Department. You will composes correspondence letters for Shipyard Commander's signature, conferences, requesting or forwarding technical information, correspondence and distribution.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: applying administrative concepts and practices to recommend changes in administrative policies; performing word processing duties utilizing Microsoft Office products; analyzing shipyard security regulations to ensure the proper handling of classified and unclassified Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information; and coordinating with other offices or departments to support management's administrative requirements. Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

Successful completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree
OR
Successful completion of two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree
OR
