You will serve as a SUPERVISORY SCHEDULING SPECIALIST in the OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT (300) of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF.

Duties

You will exercise administrative and technical supervision over subordinates for Scheduling project work. You will plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, set priorities and prepare schedules for completion of work. You will assign work to employees based on priorities, level of difficulty, and employee capabilities. You will review work products and accept, amend or reject work. You will establish performance standards and evaluate performance of employees. You will Identify developmental and training needs of employees and make provisions for such development and training. You will serve as the point of contact for all scheduling priorities and related issues. You will deliver briefings and presentations to a variety of audiences, to include Project Managers and Command leadership.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector supervising or monitoring project schedulers and production controllers in support of scheduling ships to be worked on at a shipyard or intermediate maintenance facility.
