About the Position: This is an Management Analyst GS-13 position at US Army Training and Doctrine Command, G-8, Acquisition Management and Oversight Directorate at Fort Eustis, VA. Serves as expert management advisor and consultant to senior ACOM and installation managers on behalf of the Director and the Deputy Chief of Staff. Fort Eustis, VA is located in Newport News, between historic Williamsburg and Virginia Beach.
Duties
As a Management Analyst, you will perform the following duties which is not an all-inclusive list:
Review acquisition management and oversight policies, procedures, and processes to determine if changes to existing processes, policies, and procedures are needed.
Provide advice and assistance to headquarters staff elements and the Director of Acquisition, Management and Oversight Directorate on the management and execution of contract packages.
Prepare written guidance and decisions to document findings and explain requirements to customers and contracting personnel.
Analyze acquisition program execution data and statistics in order to determine interrelated issues impacting current and future acquisition packages.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance throughout the duration of employment.
- Temporary Duty (TDY), up to 10% of the time.
- Position requires FMC-02 Certification within 24 months of appointment.
